As soon as the weather is getting warmer

I tend to reach out for bigger and sportier watches.

After some time wearing the modern Submariner I always miss the small and charming imperfections of my Vintage watches. The 6-digit Sub is probably the most perfect watch in my collection, almost "too perfect". But I love that I can wear it daily without having to think about getting it wet, banging it up or scratching the original acrylic crystal that would be absolutely unobtainable as an original spare part. So vintage and modern both have their own merits, and to be honest the 114060 is as much watch as anyone could ever ask for for their entire lifes. As a birthday present for my 30th it was initially planned this way, but this watch was what started it all. And in this way it is an irreplacable "keeper" in my collection that will always connect me with my parents and reminds me to enjoy everytime we can spend time together.

The 114060 deserves a lot of credit I think. Wear in good health, Chk

Unfortunately it got a lot of criticism for the fat lugs

of the "Supercase" and the bolder Indices on the dial but I like it the way it is. Despite its wrist presence it is wearing unbelievealby comfortable.

My rolex SA wears a 114060

And is entirely happy with hers. I think both submariner references are entirely ok. Chk

One of my favorites
