Something unusual on this JLC master control sector dial
Came across this watch being sold in one of main grey dealers here. But when i zoomed in...I found something unusual. Please look at the minute marker (minute 16) near date window. One of the markers is longer than the rest, and the paint is cut /interrup...
But other than 'Restaurant, Beret, and Baguette'...
...one of the few French words I know. Does 'Oo la la' count?
The flaws are what make it perfect???
It is a pretty watch though. I do wish the lume hadn't fallen out of the hands as well. Sorry.... Seriously though, If I found that on my watch, I might actually like the uniqueness of it.
Fulling them is too expensive 😂

Looks like a scratch on the crystal.
Previous marker also shows it. But Automatic is spelt wrong - I agree 😃
I thought it s a dirt or dust on crystal.. but i have seen other pictures from different angle,, all show the same, longer and cut lines.
Even if that is crystal scratch, still does not explain why the marker is longer than the rest.

I also saw the uneven paint between minute 47 and 48. Then again at minute 52 an 56. The inconsistency is not good for a Maison , especially with their current price.
the part that is missing
looks to be the same size as the part that makes the printed indice longer. Looks like it cracked and moved a bit more to the centre of the dial

If the defect is visible in all of the angles, then it is real. If it is only visible on this angle, it could just be an photoshop error. Sometimes when cleaning up dust or reflections from a photo, it can happen that the “healing” tool incorrectly extend...
